The HBA-DC is dedicated to developing its services for its law student members. The organization provides its members information on internships and clerkships, holds networking and outreach programs to introduce HBA-DC to local law students, and organizes a mentor/mentee program, co-sponsored by the law firm Arnold & Porter.

Membership in HBA-DC is free for law students.
