The 2014 HBA-DC Foundation Fellowships Available Now

The HBA-DC Foundation is pleased to announce that the 2014 Fellowships Program has been launched. First year and second year students attending accredited law schools in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area who have received a job offer from a sponsoring organization are eligible to apply for an HBA-DC Foundation Fellowship.
One or more fellowships in the amount of $5,000 may be awarded by the Foundation to students from the following law schools: the Columbus School of Law at the Catholic University of America, George Mason University Law School, George Washington University’s National Law Center, Georgetown University Law Center, Howard University School of Law, the David A. Clarke School of Law at the University of the District of Columbia, or the Washington College of Law at American University.
Sponsoring organizations must be non-governmental, public interest organizations located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area that provide advocacy or legal services to the Latino community at little or no cost. Preference will be given to advocacy or legal services provided to the Latino community of Washington, DC.
The deadline for submitting the fellowship application to the Foundation by email is midnight, April 7, 2014.
