On October 27th, HBA-DC and HNBA co-sponsored a networking Happy Hour to benefit the DC Volunteer Lawyers Project. Members attended the event at One Lounge in Dupont Circle and networked over appetizers and drink specials. The night raised over $400 for the DC Volunteer Lawyers Project, a non-profit organization that provides free legal services to low-income DC residents in the area of family law, such as domestic violence, custody matters, and adoption proceedings.
