Johnson, Jr., Memorial Awards to Rosanne Aviles, Senior Staff Attorney at the Legal Aid Society, and to Liberty’s Promise, a non-profit organization that assists young, D.C. area immigrants in need, while encouraging them to be active and conscientious citizens; and the Rising Star Award was presented to M. Lucero Ortiz, Special Assistant to the Chief of Staff at the U.S. Department of Labor. The event was covered in Bisnow and the Blog of the Legal Times.
