HBA-DC Celebrates Holidays with Successful Toy Drive

On December 8, 2011, the HBA-DC held its annual holiday party and toy drive benefitting Mary's Center, in co-sponsorship with the Hispanic National Bar Association ("HNBA"), the DC Chapter of the Federal Bar Association ("FBA"), and the South Asian Bar Association of DC ("SABA-DC"). The event successfully collected boxes of toys and raised over $1,100 to purchase toys for the families served by Mary's Center, a non-profit maternity health clinic serving immigrant families in DC. Sponsor representatives thanked the approximately 100 guests for their participation and generosity; William Rivera for HBA-DC, Juan Sempertegui and Zuraya Tapia Hadley for HNBA, Steve Miller for FBA, and Habib Ilahi for SABA-DC.
