On Wednesday, January 11, seven HBA-DC members joined the Bar of the
Supreme Court of the United States. After the Clerk of the Court
introduced the group as members of the HBA-DC, President William
Alvarado Rivera took the lectern to move the admission of Ana
Janckson-Curtis, Lyzka DeLaCruz, Benjamin Hernandez-Stern, Lourdes Marie
Rodriguez-Morera, Kenia Seoane Lopez, Sergio Oehninger, and Carlos
Quintana. Chief Justice John Roberts granted the motion and administered
the oath to the group before hearing oral arguments in the first case
of the day. The newly admitted members then enjoyed a tour of the
Supreme Court to cap off a great morning. Special thanks to Marianela
Peralta and Christina Brito for their efforts in putting the event
together.
