On January 19, 2012, the Hispanic Bar Association of the District of Columbia (HBA-DC) held its Annual Meeting and Elections at the St. Gregory Hotel in Washington, DC. The Hon. Jimmie Reyna offered remarks to attendees, which included Hispanic National Bar Association President, Benny Agosto, Jr. Lyzka P. DeLaCruz ascended to the Presidency and William Alvarado Rivera will serve on the board as immediate Past President. The official results of the January 2012 elections for the HBA-DC officers and board of directors are as follows:
