HBA-DC: Response to COVID-19

Dear HBA-DC Members and Friends,

We all have been following closely the rapidly developing news concerning the pandemic associated with novel coronavirus, or COVID-19, in recent weeks.  In light of the March 11 Advisory by the DC Department of Health and Mayor Bowser declaring a state of emergency in the District, HBA-DC will postpone all events for the remainder of the month.  This situation will continue to evolve, and HBA-DC will continue to respond rapidly to the guidance from health officials.  Please continue to check your inboxes and visit our website for updates to the HBA-DC events schedule.  We regret any inconvenience this may cause, but our paramount concern in responding to this serious threat is the health and well-being of all members of our HBA-DC family.  We appreciate everyone’s cooperation, patience, and resolve in overcoming this challenge.

Please feel free to reach out to me directly at with any questions or concerns.
