HBA-DC LATINA LEADERSHIP ACADEMY

Cost:  $20 for Members, $30 for Non-members

HBA-DC’s 2018 Latina Leadership Academy will feature Professor Melinda Molina. Prof. Molina is a law professor and co-author of HNBA’s seminal national studies on Latinas in the legal profession.

This year's theme is "Strategies for Growth and Career Advancement."

Prof. Molina will address (1) communication strategies to receive feedback from superiors and otherwise gain the skills necessary to advance in our careers; (2) self-assessment and goal identification; and (3) maintaining a positive Latina identity, and how to navigate professional and personal experiences unique to Latinas.

 

Breakfast and lunch will be served! And professional head shots will be offered to all attendees for free. 

 

HBA-DC Past President Juan Sempertegui is offering up to five scholarships to members interested in attending the Academy. If you're interested, please email Juan at juan.m.sempertegui@gmail.com a short statement as to why you would like to attend.
