The Professional Development Committee has put together a panel that will focus on the basic building blocks for succeeding in years 1-5, including through skills development and subject matter expertise. For those closer to the five-year mark, the panel will additionally discuss the path to advancement and how to lay the foundation for growth in those early years.

Current panel attorneys include: José Arvelo of Covington & Burling LLP, Nelly Montenegro of the Domestic Violence Unit at DC Superior Court, and Eissa Villasenor of USCIS. Committee member Catherine Cone will moderate.
