HBA-DC is co-sponsor of APABA-DC's event "Making Sense of the Census Litigation" on Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2019 from 6-8PM. 


Litigation over adding a citizenship question to the 2020 Census was one of the most consequential and prominent issues of 2019.  This event will feature a discussion with Shankar Duraiswamy, lead counsel in Kravitz v. Department of Commerce and partner at Covington & Burling LLP, and Terry Ao Minnis of Asian Americans Advancing Justice about the litigation, the 2020 Census, and its real-world consequences.  Light appetizers and refreshments will be provided.
