Over the past decade, the number of Hispanic lawyers employed as federal government attorneys in Washington, DC increased by less than one percent. On Wednesday, November 13th, join us for The State of Hispanic Attorneys in the DC Legal Field, a special Hill briefing where speakers including José Bahamonde-González. Lourdes Olvera-Marshall, and Lorenzo Olvera (Senate Diversity Initiative) will discuss the urgent need to increase Hispanic representation in the DC legal field. They will also provide recommendations for improving the hiring, retention and promotion of Hispanic attorneys.
