HBA-DC Elects 2017-18 Officers and Board Members

On January 10, 2017, the Hispanic Bar Association of the District of Columbia (HBA-DC) held its Annual Meeting and Elections at the firm Wiley Rein LLP in Washington, DC.  Attendees included U.S. District Court Judge Rudolph Contreras, D.C. Superior Court Judge Marisa Demeo, and more than sixty members of the Washington, D.C. legal community.


During the elections meeting, Edgar Class, Of Counsel at Wiley Rein LLP, turned over the Presidency of HBA-DC to Ben Hernández-Stern, who serves as a Special Counsel at the U.S. Department of Justice.  Upon assuming office, Mr. Hernandez-Stern stated: “It is a privilege to lead HBA-DC at this time.  The challenges and opportunities compels us to forcefully promote and advance the interests of our members and community.”  Find the press release here
