On December 10, 2010, the HBA-DC hosted a Housing Rights Forum at the Oyster-Adams Bilingual School. The presentation discussed tenants' rights in the District of Columbia and the new Housing Conditions Calendar at the D.C. Superior Court. The Presiding Judge of this calendar, Judge Melvin Wright, was one of the presenters, accompanied by a representative from the Housing Court’s Landlord/Tenant Resource Center and a housing rights advocate from the Latino Economic Development Center.
