Victoria Ortega

Victoria Ortega represents clients in a variety of complex civil cases before federal and state courts. Her practice, which covers all phases of litigation from inception through appeal, spans a wide array of subject areas, including:

  • commercial litigation matters
  • government contracts
  • government investigations
  • white collar defense
  • casino and internet gaming licensing
  • insurance recovery

Victoria has successfully first-chaired trials, preliminary injunction hearings and arbitrations on behalf of large corporations and individuals in state (Maryland, Virginia and D.C.) and federal courts. She also represents corporations and financial institutions in connection with corporate governance and compliance matters. Victoria devotes her pro bono practice to asylum applicants and has won asylum for three unaccompanied minors.


She is a member of Blank Rome’s Recruitment, Associate’s, Pro Bono and Diversity Committees.

Victoria is a member of the Board of Latin American Montessori Bilingual Charter School in D.C. and serves on AYUDA’s Advisory Council.
