Jackie Martínez Resly

 

Jackie Martínez Resly is a senior associate at Covington & Burling LLP, whose practice focuses on high-stakes mass tort litigation and other complex civil disputes, particularly in the area of product liability.  Ms. Martínez Resly also has experience representing submitters of information in disputes under the Freedom of Information Act and maintains an active pro bono practice.  In 2016, she was selected by her firm to participate in the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’s (“LCLD”) Pathfinder Program.

 

Ms. Martínez Resly has a law degree from Harvard Law School and an AB from Brown University.  At Harvard Law, she was co-editor-in-chief of the Harvard Latino Law Review, research assistant to Dean Martha Minow, and social chair of Harvard Law’s Latino organization, La Alianza.  Prior to working at Covington, she clerked for the Honorable David C. Godbey, U.S. District Judge for the Northern District of Texas.  Ms. Martínez Resly is originally from El Paso, Texas.
