Jackie Martínez Resly


Jaclyn (Jackie) Martínez Resly is Associate Chief Counsel at the Office of Chief Counsel at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Prior to joining FDA, she was in private practice at Covington & Burling LLP, where she focused on mass tort and product liability litigation, as well as litigation under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).

Ms. Martínez Resly clerked for the Honorable David C. Godbey, U.S. District Judge for the Northern District of Texas. She has a law degree from Harvard Law School and an A.B. from Brown University. At Harvard Law, she was co-editor-in-chief of the Harvard Latino Law Review, research assistant to Dean Martha Minow, and social chair of Harvard Law’s Latinx student organization, La Alianza.

Ms. Martínez Resly is originally from El Paso, Texas.

Ms. Martínez Resly is serving on the Board in her personal capacity and is representing her own views — not the views of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), or the United States government.
