The HBA-DC is steadfast in its commitment to nurturing and developing its services for law student members, who comprise half of its membership. The organization plays a pivotal role in providing valuable information on internships and clerkships, which are crucial for the professional development of law students. In addition to these resources, HBA-DC conducts various networking and outreach programs, specifically designed to introduce local law students to the organization and its myriad opportunities. One of the flagship initiatives is the mentor & mentee program, traditionally co-sponsored by the esteemed law firm Arnold & Porter, which fosters a nurturing environment for students to learn and grow under the guidance of experienced professionals.
